As an emotional intelligence (EQ) Coach, Sheri supports individuals, teams, and organizations in growth and development and is passionate about coaching people on their personal mastery journey. As an EQ Coach, Sheri guides her clients into greater awareness and action by leveraging strengths and exploring possibilities. By increasing emotional intelligence her clients become more aware, more intentional, and more purposeful so that they are more successful in their personal life, career, and leadership.

Sheri’s approach to coaching is encouragement and guidance to help clients generate possibilities and a new vision, focus on their strengths, and build from the wisdom that is within. Sheri’s theories of practice encompass: positive psychology, emotional intelligence, exercise science and wellness, leadership, team dynamics, and adult development.

Sheri is a certified through Six Seconds as an EQ Coach, Assessor, and Practitioner and is completing requirements for certification through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Coaching is an equal partnership between coach and the client. This partnership supports the client in making desired change to utilize their strengths and capabilities more fully, and ultimately, support their personal and professional growth.

The Coaching Process, Agreement & Sessions – What does that look like?

  • Set up an initial session to meet and greet (free)
  • Develop a coaching agreement which includes client goals, desired outcomes, number of coaching sessions, price per session, and coach/client commitments
  • Hold coaching sessions per coaching agreement, typically one-hour sessions
  • Assess progress and adjust goals as needed per coaching agreement
  • Use assessments and tools, as needed, including non-traditional tools like art & creativity, relaxation/meditation techniques to help facilitate thinking and learning

Coaching Outcomes – What does that look like? 

Some outcomes may include:

  • Clarity of purpose and vision in your life or work
  • Clarity of values that bring life, joy and meaning into your life or work
  • Clarity of strengths to leverage and nourish to fulfill your purpose in life or work
  • Clarity of purpose, values, and strengths enables confidence, self-esteem, and self-awareness
  • Ways to increase and manage well-being
  • Ways to decrease and manage stress/overwhelm
